  • 8:46 A.M. Flight 11 crashes into North Tower of the World Trade Center (Building 1)
  • 10:28 A.M. After burning for 102 minutes, the North Tower collapses into its foundation in 10 seconds.
United Airlines Flight 175
  • 8:15 A.M. Takes off from Boston, MA for Los Angeles, CA
  • 9:03 A.M. Flight 175 crashes into South Tower of the World Trade Center (Building 2)
  • 9:59 A.M. After burning for 56 minutes, the South Tower collapses into its foundation in 10 seconds.
American Airlines Flight 77
  • 8:20 A.M. Takes off from Washington Dulles International Airport (Leesburg, VA) for Los Angeles, CA
  • 9:37 A.M. Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon
United Airlines Flight 93
  • 8:42 A.M. Takes off from Newark, NJ for San Francisco, CA
  • 10:03 A.M. Flight 93 crashes into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania
Building 7 of World Trade Center
  • 5:20 P.M. Having suffered office fires for a few hours, Building 7 collapses into its foundation
